Honors and Awards Luncheon

Join us for an opportunity to visit with old friends and network with new players in the hot regional plays. We will be honoring AAPG Eastern Section luminaries including the Outstanding Geosciences Teacher and recipients of the best papers and presentations awards. The Keynote Presentation will be given by the John T. Galey Memorial Awardee.

An Evening on the Hill

Capitol Hill will be the site of an evening reception – snacks and drinks - with Senators, Representatives and congressional staffers. Details, including attendees and presentations, are still being worked out – we all know that Congress has a lot on their plate right now. There is no charge for the reception, but you must register so that we can plan for the number of participants. Transportation is not included, but the Hill is an easy taxi ride from the meeting venue and taxis are readily available to take you from the reception to a night on the town or back to the hotel.
